The Dome target or as we call it, "Head Case" is a fun target for my son and me. It's been to the range twice and there are no marks on the AR500 material. Unfortunately, my 2x4 lumber suffered a couple of low shots but that is to be expected. The first dozen hits at 100 yards on Head Case were from my TC Contender Super 14, 125 gr SP, 30-30 Winchester then 223 55 gr FMJ also through a Super 14 Contender barrel. An assortment of other cartridges has knocked off paint but nothing to the steel. This was a great purchase. Next week we will set up at 300 yards and smack Head Case with my M1A and a varmint rifle. Get a Dome Piece target, you'll love it.
