Full-Size Plate For Serious Work
At 18″ by 24″, this plate gives you a generous target area that still demands accountability on speed drills and at distance. It matches common steel challenge style dimensions so you can build realistic stages and practice on steel that feels like match day.
Why SR500 Steel?
SR500 is a higher-hardness steel than AR500, engineered for steel target applications and heavy round counts. The 3/8″ SR500 strike face is built to resist pitting, deformation, and cracking under rifle and pistol fire, helping the plate stay flatter and more predictable over its life.
One Base, Steel and Paper
The welded multi-use steel base accepts 2×4 lumber when you want to hang steel, or 1×2 boards when you need to add paper targets to your stage. That durability and flexibility make it easy to support match-style training, law enforcement quals, or mixed drills without dragging out extra stands.
Perfect For
- Steel challenge style training and local matches
- Pistol, carbine, and rifle work where you want a full-size plate
- Law enforcement and professional training where steel and paper share a stage
- Home range and private land setups where you want a “match-style” plate
